Truecaller has announced five new features that users will be able to use in the coming weeks, for now these features are being brought only for Android users. There's no word yet on when these features, or at least some of them, might come to iOS. New features coming to Truecaller on Android include Voice Call Launcher for VoIP Calling, Passcode Lock for SMS Inbox, Enhanced Call Logs, Simplified and Instant Call Reasoning, AI Smart Assistant and Face Filter for Video Caller ID. Let us know about them in detail:
> Voice Call Launcher: Voice Call Launcher for VoIP calling will make it easy for users to find available contacts on Truecaller Voice, so you can connect with them on VoIP-based calls with just one tap.
> Passcode lock for SMS: Passcode lock for SMS adds a passcode to lock your SMS on Truecaller. If your phone supports biometric or fingerprint, it can also be used in place of a code lock.
> Enhanced Call Logs: Truecaller has further improved call logs which enable and support 6400 entries as compared to 1000 entries in the previous version. This will help the user to go back to the call log to find the call record.
> Improved Call Reason: Truecaller is rolling out an improved call reason feature that can be added while the call is in progress. The platform states that if your call is not accepted while the phone is ringing, you can add an 'urgent call reason' - such as "This is important" or "Can we talk?" e.t.c. You can customize them to your liking.
> Face Filters for Video Caller ID: Face Filters for Video Caller ID on Truecaller aims to make the calling experience more "exciting and personal". There are built-in templates with VR-powered filters.
